On-line pre-registration at www.thephoenixfury.com begins Monday, July 21st and is $75 until August 5. After August 5, registration is $100. Only 200 slots are available for the tryouts, so all interested players are encouraged to register as early as possible. Tryouts are open to basketball players 18 and older. Athletes 18-21 must have a legal guardian sign the registration form, per ABA rules. All interested players should come prepared with:

1. A resume of athletic and basketball experience

2. Head shot or photo (non-returnable)

3. Video of play (if available, also non-returnable)

4. Two forms of identification (to verify age and work eligilibility)

5. Appropriate practice attire, ready to play.

The ideal Phoenix Fury player candidate will have varsity high school, junior college, collegiate or professional league basketball experience, as well as a strong commitment to the Phoenix community and professional ambition.

"We are looking for players who have ambitions of being professional on and off the court," said Robert Newman, Phoenix Fury General Manager. "The Phoenix Fury will get its character from the diverse backgrounds of players and their strong presence in the community."
