Robbie Mills Sports Complex, Laconia, N.H. - The Winnipesaukee Muskrats (4-4) held on to defeat the Sanford Mainers (1-8) in a tight ball game at Robbie Mills Sports Complex.
Both teams were held scoreless until the fifth inning, when the Mainers got things started with a lead-off single by Jayson Kramer (St. Johns), who would score later in the inning on a wild pitch. The Muskrats answered in the bottom of the inning when Patrick Roche (Boston College) got things started with a double, later scoring on a single by Kohl Abrams (North Carolina Asheville).
A few innings later, Winnipesaukee took a 2-1 advantage when, in the bottom of the seventh inning, Cole Palmeri (Colby College) singled to score Grayson Preslar (North Carolina Asheville), who had walked earlier in the frame.
