ONLY ONE MORE WEEK... Until the Fire opens the 2005 season at Rio Grande Valley. Kick-off is set for 7:30 and you can here all of the action on WKJK 1080-AM with Paul Wilman. af2 ALL-TIME INTERCEPTOR BACK WITH FIRE... The Fire has been assigned defensive specialist Arkee Thompson, the af2's all-time leader in interceptions. Also returning to the Fire is offensive specialist James Scott. See the attached press release for more info on each player. BRUNCH WITH THE FIRE... This Sunday the Fire will be at Gumby's Garden Room Café in the Spectrum Building (Old Male High School on Brook St.) from 11:30 â 1:00 for brunch. This will be your first opportunity to meet the players and get some autographs.

It's also not too early to schedule your group outing for your company, family or church group. Group rates start at just $10 a ticket and you can reserve your group for opening night by calling the office.
OPENING NIGHT... The home opener is less than a month away. The Fire will open the 2005 season on the road against Rio Grande Valley and come home for the South Georgia Wildcats on April 15. Opening night will be brought to you by CHA Health and Budweiser. We will be giving away 1,000 Kentucky Derby Festival pins and Bud and Bud Light will be just $1. Kick-off is set for 7:30 but get to parking lot J early for Sumerset Houseboats tailgating.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES... The Fire also has birthday party packages available for all eight home games. Birthday packages include 12 tickets to the game, 12 hot dogs, 12 drinks, chips, a birthday cake and thirty tickets for the Meijer Kids Zone activities for just $200.
