COACH JOHNSON RETURNS FOR 2004... Tommy Johnson will return to the Fire as head coach for the 2004 season. Coach Johnson is currently putting together his coaching staff for the 2004 season and is starting to recruit and sign players for the 2004 season.
CHEERLEADERS AUDITIONS THIS SATURDAY...Cheerleader auditions will take place this Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in Broadbent Arena. If you would like more information on the tryouts call 368-0009 and ask for Tricia, or e-mail her at kern@firefootball.com.
FIRE REFERAL PROGRAM... Would you or a chance to win an authentic jersey? Would you like to win a Fire t-shirt? If you answered YES to both of these questions then keep reading. TWO DAYS LEFT UNTIL THE DRAWING... Fire fans you only have two days to get in on the season ticket drawing for this month. There will be two winners this month, each receiving two tickets to Fire owner/operator Will Wolford's suite at the Colts/Jets game in November.
CLARKSVILLE MOVES ON IN SECTIONALS... Fire FB/LB Demetrius Forney and the Clarksville Generals defeated Union County, 42-8, in their opening round game of the sectionals. Clarksville will face Brownstown this Friday. The Trinity Shamrocks and Oscar Brohm ended Fern Creek's season on Friday with a 63-7 victory. The Rocks (5-4) will face Ballard Friday night. The St. X Tigers and Pat Chitwood continued their winning ways with a 35-7 victory over Butler. St. X will play at PRP on Friday. The J-Town Chargers and Alfonzo Browning lost to Fairdale, 45-40, last Friday. J-Town will wrap up their season on Friday at Doss. The playoffs will begin in Kentucky next week with Trinity and St. X both having clinched a playoff berth.

BUDWEISER FLICK BALL ON DIXIE TOMORROW NIGHT... Flick ball will return to Buffalo Wild Wings on Dixie Highway tomorrow night at 8 P.M. Come out to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch Boise State take on the BYU Cougars on ESPN. Fire FB/LB Demetrius Forney will be on hand tomorrow night.
