Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
WHEELING, WV - The Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the retirement of offensive linemen Jason Hupp.
Jason was a three year member of the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Hupp was signed in 2001, by then coach Wilkie Perez. In his first year as a Hounds, Jason won all division RT. After winning a championship with the Hounds in 2002, Jason again was an all - conference RT.
Jason was a key piece in the back to back championship run in 2003. Hupp was injured in the last regular season game and missed the playoff run with a Jones fracture in his foot. However, once again Hupp was an all- division RT in the NIFL.
Jason will return to Kent State to finish his degree in 2004.
Hupp will be retained on the Greyhounds IR roster until his foot has healed completely.
