Texas Thunder Softball Partners with Domino's Pizza
HOUSTON, Texas - The Texas Thunder and Domino's Pizza have signed a deal for the remainder of the 2006 season, announced today by team general manager Aaron M. Moore.
The deal, which will include a special promotion for Domino's Pizza, will join a list of recently completed deals by the Thunder. Most recently, the Thunder has agreed to partnership deals with Chipotle, Buffalo Wild Wings, Earl of Sandwich USA and the Hilton Galveston Resort.
"This is a great opportunity for our franchise as we continue to move forward with our marketing strategies," said Moore. "Having a company like Domino's Pizza come on board will only help our team and possibly league get to the next level."
By signing the deal, Domino's Pizza has donated more than 50 vouchers for a free, large 1-topping pizza. Several of the vouchers will be given to fans at the 12 remaining Texas home games, while the rest will go to a player for the remainder of the season. As a part of the deal, Domino's Pizza has agreed to become the official sponsor of the Texas Thunder Player of the Game.
The Thunder will begin a four-game road trip on Thursday night in Stratford, Conn. to play the Brakettes. All four games of the series in Connecticut will be available online at www.ctbrakettes.com.
Texas will return to action at Big League Dreams on Wednesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. when they host the Akron Racers for a four-game set.
