Allen, TX: The Indoor Football League (IFL) proudly announced today at 3:00 P.M. EST that A.J. Nicholson of the Texas Revolution has been named Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Tri-Cities on March 22, 2013.
Last Friday marked the first league home game for the Texas Revolution. Nicholson, a team captain and starting linebacker, led his defense to one of the most dominating first halves in IFL history. Nicholson was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, attended Florida State University, and spent time in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals.
