Texas Revolution Announce $1 Tickets for Season Premiere
February 7, 2013 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Texas Revolution News Release
Plano, TX: Tim Brown and The Texas Revolution announced today an unprecedented offer of $1 Opening Night Tickets.
Tim Brown, the Revolution's General Manager and Co-Owner, stated that value and community are two key ideas that the team will be focusing on throughout the 2013 season. The best way to prove this is through the announcement that all individual tickets will be $1 each for the team's opening night non-league matchup against The North Texas Crunch of the American Professional Football League on February 21. The focus on value was shown once again by holding this press conference at CiCi's Pizza, the home of great value.
"We want to fill the Allen Event Center for this game," said Brown. "I know that if fans give us a first look, they will want to come back to ensure the success of our team!"
The opening night game will be full of entertainment for the whole family. In addition to discounted tickets, opening night at the Allen Event Center will also include a pregame fireworks show, free t-shirts to the first 1,000 fans into the arena, and a spectacular performance at halftime by the Amazing Red Panda, all compliments of CiCi's Pizza!
In addition to season tickets and group tickets still being available, individual tickets are now available for purchase. The team expects to sell out the season premiere game, so buy tickets quickly.
Ownership Group Strengthens
The Texas Revolution are proud to announce the additions of Cookie Hill, Dave Allen, and Emma Anderson as new team co-owners.
Cookie Hill is a longtime Dallas resident, and a mogul in the real estate industry. Dave Allen joins as a third generation owner of Executive Press, and the official printer of the Texas Revolution. Emma Anderson brings her longtime support of indoor football in Allen and owns her own business, Allen Sports Massage.
The ownership group is committed to providing the best possible experience for the fans and community, as well as assisting Coach Back in any ways that they can to ensure that a competitive team is on the field each week.
Training Camp Quickly Approaches
The training camp invitees will be arriving to town on Saturday February 9th, and final rosters will be available by the conclusion of camp.
Head Coach Billy Back and his assistant coaches, Brian Wells (Defensive Coordinator), Brandon Blackmon (DB Coach), Bryan Raymond (OL Coach), and Taurean Henderson (RB Coach), have signed players from all over the country including Texas, Ohio, and Florida.
"This will be a very competitive camp," said Back. "We want a group of guys who are ready to work hard and compete from day one."
