
Texas Native Rodrick Waters Comes to Dallas

The Dallas Jackals are excited to announce former Austin Gilgronis Rodrick Waters joins for the remainder of the 2022 season.
From Richmond, Texas, Water attended Foster High School, graduating in 2011. He played football in high school earning a scholarship to Blinn College before transferring to Western State Colorado University in 2013. Here, he continued playing football while majoring in Exercise and Sports Science. Waters began playing rugby in the summers during his time at Western State as well as with Aspen Gents in 2018.
Waters then returned to Texas playing with the West Houston Lions D1 side, being named 2019 Player of the Year. He went on to earn a roster spot on three Houston SaberCats preseason rosters.
He made the move to Austin joining the Austin AGs starting three of the four matches in the shortened season due to the COVID-19 shutdown.
