Mohegan Wolves News Release

NEW LONDON, C.T. (April 30th, 2002)- Friday, May 10th when the Mohegan Wolves return home to take on the Albany Conquest (3-1) everyone in attendance has the opportunity to change a child's life. The game has been themed "Teddy Bear Toss Night" and anyone who brings a new teddy bear to the game will receive a general admission ticket at half price.

The teddy bears will be tossed on the field at a stoppage in play during the game. The bears will be collected and after the game the Teddy Bears will be donated to two charities: The Ronald McDonald House and TVCCA Early Care & Education.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable, supportive alternative for needy families. It serves as a temporary residence near the medical facility where family members can sleep, eat, relax and find support from other families in similar situations. In return, families are asked to make a donation ranging from $5 to $20 per day; if that isn't possible, their stay is free.

TVCCA Early Care & Education provides licensed quality childcare on a year round basis. Each of their centers offers early childhood education to help children become school ready. They also provide social service support to help parents raise healthy and well-adjusted children in a positive atmosphere.

Tickets are currently available and can be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box or by calling (860) 862-8000. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting www.tickets.com or by calling tickets.com at 1-800-477-6849. For further information about upcoming events contact the Mohegan Wolves offices at (860) 443-1900.
