Wichita Falls Warriors News Release

For the second year in a row, the Wichita Falls Warriors will host an annual Teddy Bear Toss this Saturday, December 4th during the team's game against the Corpus Christi IceRays. The yearly event, which is popular across all levels and leagues of the hockey world around the holidays, is simple: bring a brand new teddy bear or stuffed animal and when the home team scores their first goal, toss your teddy bear. After the stuffed animals are cleared off the ice at Kay Yeager Coliseum, they will be donated to Toys for Tots!

Fans who aren't able to make it to Saturday's game are still encouraged to bring their brand new teddy bears, stuffed animals or toys to Friday night's matchup vs Corpus Christi and drop them off in one of the Toys for Tots bins located near the entrance to Kay Yeager Coliseum.

Warriors forward Alex Walker and defenseman Owen Dyer came up with some unique techniques for tossing teddy bears. That video can be found here.

This weekend's games take place on Friday December 3rd and Saturday December 4th at the Kay Yeager Coliseum. Puck drop for both nights is 7:05 PM.
