
Tampa Bay's Samuels reaches milestone

NEW YORK - Tampa Bay Storm WR/LB LAWRENCE SAMUELS caught a six-yard pass from QB BRETT DIETZ with 5:02 remaining in the first quarter to become the first player in AFL history to record 1,000 career receptions.
Saumels now stands seven receptions shy of passing CFL all-time leader TERRY VAUGHN to move into fifth place for most receptions in professional football history.
