Tampa Bay Storm of the AFL invite Florida Stingrays to assist in open tryout

Ft. MYERS, FL. - The American Indoor Football Association's (AIFA) expansion Team, the Florida Stingrays, announced today that they have been invited to assist in an open tryout with the AFL's Tampa Bay Storm this Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Tampa.

Stingray coaches Bryan Jernigan and Bernard Edwards, who played for the Storm will assist in several drills for players wanting to play for the AFL franchise.

Head Coach Brian (BJ) Jernigan, "This is a huge opportunity for our expansion franchise to not only work with a top shelf organization and coaching staff, but also to get a look at some possible future Stingray players."

General Manager Gary Vaughn, "Being an expansion franchise, this invitation says a lot about the credibility of the AIFA, as any team could have received this invitation, but they chose The Florida Stingrays. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to forge a working relationship with an organization, that we hope to soon be sending talented players to in the near future."

- When: Saturday, Dec. 15th
