Tampa Bay Storm News Release
Tampa Bay - The Tampa Bay Storm have added two defensive linemen to the roster, Joshua Long and John-Kevin Dolce, announced head coach Dave Ewart.
"As the season approaches we are continually looking to add players that can make an impact on our roster," said Ewart. "These young men, Josh and John-Kevin, each exhibit the fire and determination we are looking to add to our team. They are hard-working young men that will help make our team better."
Dolce (6-foot-2, 255 lbs., Virginia) appeared in 35 games with the Cavaliers and was named team captain in 2010, his senior season. A versatile defensive lineman, he lined up as an undersized nose tackle and made an impact chasing down quarterbacks. During his career he recorded 61 tackles, 9.5 for a loss, eight sacks, a fumble recovery and forced a fumble.
Long, (6-4, 300, Webber International) is a former prep standout from Fort Myers H.S. (Fort Myers, FL). Originally signed with Marshall University out of high school, but ended up playing for Webber International. He just finished his senior season and recorded 19 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks and returned a fumble he forced 94 yards for a touchdown.
