Power Beefs up Offensive and Defensive Lines

The Power have added Pittsburgh native Beau Elliott to their offensive line and Tommy Duhart to their defensive line.

Elliott (6'3", 315) stared at Natrona Heights in high school, where he was named the to the Post-Gazette's Fabulous 22 Squad as a senior. At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he started for 3 seasons at guard and at center. Following college, He played two seasons in the af2, before earning AFL All Rookie team honors at center in the first of his three seasons with the Chicago Rush. Last season, following his 2010 All-Arena Second Team season, Elliott battled injury early in the year before again anchoring Chicago's line.

Duhart (6'4", 320) played at Pitt before finishing his collegiate career at Valdosta State. Undrafted by the NFL, he signed with the Carolina Panthers and saw game action in the 2010 preseason before spending the season on the practice squad.

"While linemen don't get a lot of hoopla, the Power got much better today," said Power head coach Chris Siegfried. "Elliott is one of the top centers in this league and Duhart has tremendous ability."

The Power also announced increased local television coverage. Twelve games, including seven home dates and five away matchups, will appear on WPCW, Pittsburgh's CW, in addition to the four games airing nationally on the NFL network.
