
Tampa Bay Lightning Recall Andrei Vasilevskiy, Reassign Kristers Gudlevskis to Syracuse Crunch

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy from the Syracuse Crunch, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced today. Additionally, the club has reassigned goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis to the Crunch.
Vasilevskiy, 21, made two starts after being reassigned to Syracuse on December 10, posting a 0-1-1 record with a .892 save percentage and a 3.47 goals-against average. He has appeared in seven games with the Lightning this season, posting a 2-4-0 record to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound goaltender has played in 23 career NHL games, all with the Lightning, over the past two seasons, registering a record of 9-9-0 to go along with a 2.47 goals-against average and .916 save percentage. Vasilevskiy also appeared in four Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Lightning last year, registering a 1-1 record.
Gudlevskis, 23, did not appear in any game action after being recalled on December 10. He has appeared in one game with the Lightning this season, a 1-0 overtime loss against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 24 at United Center. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound goaltender was the game's third star, making 31 saves on 32 shots. He's played in two career NHL games, both with Tampa Bay, registering a 1.50 goals-against average and .957 save percentage.
