Talons Move Up In Coaches Poll
May 27, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Tulsa Talons News Release
The Tulsa Talons moved up 2 spots in this week's Coaches Poll and are now the fourth ranked team in the Arena Football League after routing turnpike rival Oklahoma City last Saturday night 67-41. The Talons jumped out to a quick 14 point lead and never looked back. The Talons offense once again was good as they scored 3 points more than the season average, but it was the Talons defense that was the difference as they pressured on the Yard Dawgz's offense into mistakes all night. With the win over the Yard Dawgz, the Talons are now a perfect 14-0 at the BOK Center over the last 2 seasons.
The Talons travel to Bossier-Shreveport to take on the Battle Wings at 7:05 this Saturday night. Talons fans will be gathering at the official watch party location-Fair Meadows Grill located at 21st and Yale just North of Big Splash.
