Bloomington, IL - The 2015 Bloomington Thunder Home Opener is moving rapidly closer with each day, as the countdown is now under 50 days. Amidst the anticipation for the Thunder's second United States Hockey League season, the Thunder are ready to announce the promotions and giveaways for their Friday, Sept. 25 game against the Waterloo Black Hawks.

To kick off the season, every fan in attendance will receive a special edition lime green Home Opener t-shirt draped over their seat at the game. Prior to puck drop, there will also be games and festivities outside the U.S. Cellular Coliseum and throughout the concourse.

Inside the building from 6-7 p.m. all beer and soda will be on sale for $1 at the building's concession stands. The regular season will officially start at 7 p.m. as the full Thunder roster will be introduced.

Tickets start at $11 at walk up, but you can save money through different offers by calling the Thunder Front Office at (309) 434-2980. Season tickets start at just $8 a game and include over $120 in added benefits. 10 and 20 game ticket packs are also available, starting at $9.50 a game, giving you flexibility to pick games or use them as ticket vouchers.

The Thunder also offer price breaks for groups of 10 or more and have suites available for your next party or company function. Group prices start at $10 a ticket, while suites are $22 per person.

Youth tickets through the Thunder office are $5 a game in all ticket packages this season versus $7 at walk up.

Individual tickets for the Home Opener and all other games during the 2015-16 season may be purchased starting on Monday, Sept. 7 through the Bloomington Thunder Front Office.

The Home Opener kicks off the season's set of promotions for Bloomington's 30 homes games at the Coliseum. A full list of Thunder promotions will be revealed Thursday, Aug. 14 on bloomingtonthunder.com and the Thunder's social media outlets.

SEPT. 25, 7 p.m. - Home Opener: Join the Thunder as they kick off their 2015-16 season against the Waterloo Black Hawks. Season and Partial Ticket Plans: The 2015-16 season will be here before you know it and for just $50 we can reserve your season or partial tickets for the Bloomington Thunder at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Season Tickets start at just $240 and youth season tickets are $150 including all of the same benefits. You'll also have a chance to win a pair of Chicago Blackhawks regular season game tickets during the 2015-16 season.
