Switchbacks Named to Team of the Week for Week 8

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that James Chambers has been named Coach of the Week and Maalique Foster to Team of the Week Bench for week 8 of the 2024 season, presented by Konami eFootball.
Head Coach James Chambers has earned Coach of the Week for the 2024 season after a spectacular game on Saturday against the Oakland Roots. The Switchbacks have had a challenging 2024 season, but Chambers has kept pushing the team for success, getting them their first win of the 2024 regular season over the weekend.
Maalique Foster played an impressive game last Saturday against the Oakland Roots. This forward assisted in both goals of the game, had 111 successful passes and 17 key passes. He also created three chances throughout the game, more than any other player on either team.
