Swing unveil 2005 flex mini-plans

As their new parent club, the St. Louis Cardinals, begins its run into October, the Swing of the Quad Cities are excited to unveil a series of ticket mini-plans for the 2005 season. The Swing will offer three separate plans in 2005, highlighting their best game dates and promotions. Also, new in 2005, Swing ticket plans will be special flex plans, allowing fans to choose some of their own game dates.

The 35-game plan includes 25 premiere home dates of the 2005 season, along with ten more that each fan can select. Among the 25 pre-selected dates are the Swing's Opening Day fireworks show on April 15, ten additional fireworks shows, six premium giveaway games, and the long-awaited return of the popular ZOOperstars to John O'Donnell Stadium. In addition, the 35-game plan features three games against the Peoria Chiefs, the new affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, and three more with the Clinton LumberKings. The 35-game plan will be priced at $279 for the season, but will be available at a special rate of $260 until December 1.

The 20-game plan includes 15 of the Swing's top promotional games, along with five more selected by the fan. This plan begins with the Opening Day fireworks and continues with eight more fireworks shows, four premium giveaway days, and the return of the ZOOperstars on Friday, May 13. Like the 35-game plan, the 20-game plan also includes three visits from the Clinton LumberKings and three more from the Peoria Chiefs. The 20-game plan is priced at $162 per package.

The Swing's ten-game plan features ten more premiere home dates, with an emphasis on fireworks nights and giveaway dates. The ten-game plan features starts with Opening Day fireworks and includes five more fireworks shows, and three dates featuring giveaways. It also includes the Swing's final home game of the season, Fan Appreciation Day, on Sunday, August 26.

All mini-plans offer unique features that make them perfect for any Swing fan. Fans holding mini-plans are guaranteed the same great box seat to all games in their package. In the event that a fan cannot use a ticket in his or her mini-plan, the Swing have an online ticket transfer programs that allows tickets to be transferred to another person. In addition, unused tickets from the 35- and 20-game plans can be exchanged for a general admission ticket for any Monday through Thursday Swing home game in 2005.

Swing season tickets for 2005 are also currently available. Box seat packages feature the same great seat for every game, along with invites to season ticket holder and other team events. Box seat packages start are priced at $575 for a full-season package, with a special rate of $525 available through December 1. In addition, club seat tickets – the best seats in the house – are priced at $745 as part of a three-year plan and also include VIP access to the concourse Club Lounge for the entire 2005 season.

2005 mini-plans and season tickets can be purchased from the Swing by calling (563) 328-2000. Tickets are also available at the Swing's John O'Donnell Stadium offices, from 9:00 until 5:00 every Monday through Friday. Fans can also purchase mini-plans online at www.swingbaseball.com/shopping.
