LAKE CHARLES â With a win over the Corpus Christ Hammerheads, the Southwest Louisiana Swashbucklers clinched the Pacific East Division! The Corpus Christi Hammerheads put up a great fight, but in the last seconds of the game, the Swashbucklers quarter back, Freddie Harrison found Earl Vercher in the end zone for the touchdown to tie the score. Chris Little kicked the extra point to give the Swashbucklers a 42 to 41 win.
Only two home games remain until the playoffs. Don't miss Saturday June 11th against the undefeated Odessa Roughnecks and June 18th against the Fayetteville Heat.
