SwampDogs Participate in Patriotic Parade
July 4, 2018 - Coastal Plain League (Coastal Plain)
Fayetteville SwampDogs News Release
HOPE MILLS, N.C. - Although the SwampDogs colors are usually blue and green, the calendar called for something different Wednesday morning.
Coming off the heels of the annual Independence Eve fireworks extravaganza, Fayetteville's front office and coaching staff brought out their red, white and blue again the next day, as the SwampDogs participated with a fun-filled float at the Hope Mills Fourth of July Parade.
The SwampDogs were thrilled to be a part of the event and to help bring smiles to the enormous crowd that lined the streets of the parade route. Over the course of the 10 a.m. hour, team staff passed out a plethora of SwampDogs' stickers and pocket schedules, while Fun-Go engaged with countless little ones.
The SwampDogs will be back on the field at The Swamp Thursday for kids' choice night! The game time is set for 7:05 p.m. with the stadium gates opening at 6.
