Surf Stuns The #1-Ranked L. A. Slam

San Diego "Surf" stunned the Los Angeles "Slam" at Sunday night's revenge game with 125-113! LA "Slam" has been ranked first in SoCal and ninth nationwide in the ABA, with talented players including multi-platinum selling hip-hop artist "THE GAME", and popular rapper "XO". The Surf were dominant all game long with 20 - 30 points ahead until the closing minutes.

Chris "Mr. Mid-Range" Agnes, player of the game, had an outstanding night with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Richie "Rock" Williams from SDSU, also had an outstanding game with 20 points, 8 rebounds,and 8 assists. Jamal Kendrick, who signed autographs after the game, dominated under the basket with 18 points and 10 rebounds. John Clark poured in four three-pointers to help put the game on ice.

The LA "Slam" highlights included Joshay Rocketts with 30 points, 7 rebounds; Sean Harris with15, and; "The Game" bringing in 13 points.

New "SURF" players are Greg Clark and Sonny Smith who contributed 15 and 22 points respectively. In addition, the San Diego Surf Squad danced at half-time with "Diety Girls" showcasing their unique dance routines.
