OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Supernovas once again welcomed a five-digit crowd as 11,303 packed inside the CHI Health Center to see Omaha take on the San Diego Mojo Saturday night. The Supernovas have hosted at least 10,000 fans in six of their 10 home matches this season with those crowds being the top six most attended U.S. Pro Volleyball matches.

Omaha holds the U.S. Pro Volleyball attendance record as 12,090 spectators watched the Supernovas beat the Orlando Valkyries 3-1 on Saturday, March 16. The Supernovas remain the only team in the Pro Volleyball Federation to host a crowd of over 10,000.

The bundle of attendance records began with the first match of the Pro Volleyball Federation on Jan. 24, 2024 between the Atlanta Vibe and the Supernovas in front of 11,624. That was soon followed by Omaha hosting 11,403 on Feb. 3 as the Supernovas swept the Mojo for their first win in franchise history. That mark was eclipsed a couple weeks later with 11,918 fans watching Omaha beat the Valkyries once again on Feb. 18. The Supernovas broke the 10,000 threshold again on Saturday, March 30 with Omaha sweeping the Vegas Thrill in front of 10,315.

The seven biggest crowds to watch a women's professional volleyball match have now all taken place in Nebraska. Aside from the matches already mentioned, a total of 10,213 spectators watched an Olympic qualifier between the U.S. Women's National Team and the Dominican Republic at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 9, 2016.
