Super Saturday Set for March 23

FISHKILL, NY - Tickets for the 20th season of Renegades Baseball will go on sale Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dutchess Stadium. Fans will be given their first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for 2013 Opening Day as well as to any of the 38 Renegades homes games. Those in attendance for Super Saturday will also be given the first look at the 2013 promotional schedule, which incorporates this season's theme nights and giveaway items, including the giveaway commemorating the 2012 Championship.

Super Saturday will incorporate several activities for the entire family including our annual "Kids Club Easter Egg Hunt." The Renegades will hold two hunts with the first beginning at 11 a.m. and the second at noon. The "Be Your Own Fan (BYOF) Juniors Kids Club" and all kids club events are free of charge for Renegades fans 12 & under.

In-between the Easter Egg Hunts, Rascal, the Official Team Mascot of the Hudson Valley Renegades, is scheduled to make his return to The Dutch since the announcement of his "makeover" back in November. Rascal was introduced to the ball club in August 2000 and has become perhaps the most alluring mascot in all of sports. On Super Saturday, a new "tail" will begin, as Rascal will start his teenage years at The Dutch.

"We are thrilled to kick-off spring with Super Saturday at Dutchess Stadium," said Eben Yager, General Manager and Senior Vice President of the Hudson Valley Renegades. "Myself, as well as the rest of the Renegades staff, are excited to see everyone at the ballpark as we continue our year-round festivities to celebrate 20 seasons of Renegades Baseball."

New this year, the Renegades will host a Chili Cook-Off that will feature members of the community competing for the best chili in the Hudson Valley. On Super Saturday, fans will have the opportunity to be the judge as samples will be provided to those in attendance. The Chili Cook-Off will take place on the main concourse from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets for the 2013 season will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23rd at Dutchess Stadium with Super Saturday festivities beginning at 11 a.m. Those purchasing tickets to 3 or more games on Super Saturday, will receive a complimentary ticket to a pre-selected game courtesy of the Renegades organization. Tickets will be available to purchase online beginning Monday, March 25th at hvrenegades.com. All events on Super Saturday are free for the public.
