2013 Individual Game Tickets on Sale April 2

NORWICH- The Connecticut Tigers will put 2013 individual game tickets on sale on Tuesday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Dodd Stadium Box Office or by phone at 860-887-7962 during normal business hours. Tickets will also be available online at cttigers.com . Followers of the Tigers on Facebook (facebook.com/connecticuttigers ) and Twitter (@thecttigers) will be able to purchase tickets a day early on Monday, April 1 as the first "Social Media Monday" of 2013, presented by XtraMart Convenience Stores. A special link will be posted early Monday morning for these fans to take advantage of this deal. Fans are encouraged to check the Tigers Social Media pages throughout the season prior to every Monday home game for an exclusive offer courtesy of XtraMart.

Opening Day for the Tigers is on Monday, June 17 against the Lowell Spinners, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, at 7:05 p.m. with fireworks after the game.

"2013 is going to be a magical year at Dodd Stadium," said Vice President & General Manager C.J.

Knudsen. "Not only are we opening up against the Boston Red Sox affiliate, and hosting numerous fireworks shows and giveaway nights this season, we're home to the New York-Penn League All-Star Game!

The ticket prices for the 2013 season are as follows: $10.00 for a Premium Box Seat, $9.00 for a Reserved Box Seat and $8.00 for a Grandstand Seat. Tickets to "The Yard" Bar & Grill are $20.00

The Connecticut Tigers are the NYPL affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game (38 home, 38 away) schedule from mid-June through early September. The 2013 season will be the Tigers 4th year at Dodd Stadium, and are proud to host the 2013 NYPL All-Star Game on Tuesday, August 13. All-Star Game tickets, season tickets, mini plans, and group tickets are on sale now! The Box Office is open Monday-Friday during normal business hours.
