Sundogs Wives and Girlfriends Assist Yavapai Food Bank, Distribute Food to More Than 600 People

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs players' and coaches' wives and girlfriends and team mascot Burnie volunteered their time at Yavapai Food Bank in Prescott Valley Wednesday afternoon.
In two hours, the wives and girlfriends helped hand out nearly 160 food boxes to more than 600 people.
"We often watch our husbands give back to the community and this was our chance to do the same thing," said Tyler Butler's wife, Hollie.
On hand to help distribute food was Caroline Pietroniro, wife of Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro, Marianna Bartolone, wife of Assistant Coach Chris Bartolone, Jenner Keith, wife of Cam Keith, Tracy Smyth, wife of Adam Smyth, Kristen Slahor, fiancée of Kyle Hood, Mary Erickson, wife of Luke Erickson, Hollie Butler, Brittany Blunt, fiancée of Karl Sellan, and Jessica Bouchard, girlfriend of Samuel Grenache.
"We visited Yavapai Food Bank to volunteer and help just as our husbands and boyfriends are doing in the community," added Caroline Pietroniro.
"Yavapai Food Bank has been a charitable partner of the Arizona Sundogs for the last five years," said Yavapai Food Bank President Bob Wilson. "The Sundogs have volunteered their time, they've helped us financially and they regularly host food drives during home games at Tim's Toyota Center. Their support helps us to feed those in need."
