MOLINE, IL - Four unanswered goals by the Arizona Sundogs and a two-goal night by JP Chabot were the difference on Sunday afternoon in a 5-2 win over the Quad City Mallards at the iWireless Center.

With the win the Sundogs (15-25-7) split their two weekend games against the Mallards (26-20-1) and earn four of six possible points during the three-in-three stretch.

Chabot's second goal of the night proved to be the game-winner - a backhand shot from the slot at 8:57 of period two. Craig Macdonald extended his goal-scoring streak to three games with a power play goal from the point with 1:20 left in the opening frame.

Entering the second period in a 2-2 tie, the Sundogs jumped out to a 4-2 lead with Chabot's tally and Olivier Proulx on the power play. Proulx's strike allowed the Sundogs to take advantage of a 5-on-3 power play with 8:45 to play and was his ninth point in seven games with Arizona.

Adam Smyth added the final goal for Arizona, a wrist shot from the right circle 7:36 of the third.

JP Chabot scored Arizona's other goal in period one. Quad City's Jared Brown and Eric Giosa also scored.
