Sundogs Re-Sign Defenseman McCready

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today, they have resigned defenseman Matt McCready for their upcoming 2013-14 Central Hockey League season.

McCready 26, was acquired from the Missouri Mavericks last season after playing in 20 games and tallying six points. After joining the Sundogs, the 5-foot-11, Ontario native registered three goals and 18 assists for 21 points in 35 games, earning him the top scoring rookie defenseman in the CHL. Prior to turning pro McCready spent his collegiate career playing for the University of Windsor where he tallied 67 points in 107 games.

Sundogs General Manager, Chris Presson shared, "We are excited to have Matt back. He was a top priority for us to resign at the conclusion of last season. Matt is a defenseman that can play in all situations and competes hard on the ice every shift."
