
Sundogs Drop Game Three against Beast, 4-0 Shutout

Prescott Valley, AZ - The tables turned for the Arizona Sundogs in game three against the Brampton Beast when the Beast registered three goals in the third period propelling them to a 4-0 shutout win against the Sundogs.
The game began similar to Sunday afternoon with the Beast taking an early lead with a goal from Matt Caruana with 6:06 remaining in the middle frame. Unlike Sunday, the Sundogs didn't expect to drop three goals in under 10 minutes in the third period. The Beast's second goal game on the power play after Sundogs' Henric Hoglund served a two minute, too many men, bench minor allowing Brampton to take advantage of their opportunity. Three minutes later Josh McQuade shot a wrister past Arizona goalie, Cam Lanigan and registered their third goal. The Beast's fourth goal came on the penalty kill after Steve Ward was sent to the box for a hooking minor and Brampton's Calin Wild notched the shorthanded goal securing the Beast's first shutout win this season.
Lanigan, took the loss for the Sundogs blocking 19 shots, while Arizona outshot Brampton 31-23. The Sundogs were 0-3 on the power play and the Beast were 1-4.
