Sundogs and Coyotes Pair Up for Joint Player Appearance

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs Hockey Club of the Central Hockey League, in conjunction with its NHL affiliate, the Phoenix Coyotes, have announced a joint player appearance at Augie's Place in Prescott Valley on Sunday, Sept. 9th from 5:00-7:00pm.

'Burnie the Sundog' and veteran defensemen Dan Laperriere and Chris Bartolone will be joined by Phoenix Coyotes mascot 'Howler' and goaltender Mikael Tellqvist (tell-kwist) during the appearance.

The joint player appearance, the first event since the two teams announced their affiliation agreement, is part of the NHL club's 11th Annual Coyotes Caravan, in which the team travels across the state of Arizona prior to the start of its season.

Augie's Place is located at 2982 N. Park Ave. in the Entertainment District in Prescott Valley across from Harkins Theatres.

The Sundogs open the 2007-08 CHL regular season against the defending President's Cup Champion Colorado Eagles on Friday, Oct. 19 at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. Game time is set for 7:05pm. Season tickets are still available by contacting the Arizona Sundogs at (928) 772-5555.
