Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
Sunday's Binghamton Mets game against the Erie SeaWolves has been postponed because of cold and snowy conditions at Jerry Uht Park in Erie. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 22nd in Erie, starting at 6:05 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
Monday, the B-Mets begin a three-game series in Akron. Jonathon Niese (1-0, 0.82) will start for Binghamton against fellow southpaw Chuck Lofgren (0-1, 5.79) of Akron. The first pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. at Canal Park with the radio broadcast beginning at 6:50 on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
