Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Senators bullpen has undergone another change. RHP Steve Schmoll was added to the roster today as RHP Levale Speigner went to the Disabled List.
Schmoll was a major-leaguer for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2005. In 48 appearances, he went 2-2 with three saves and a 5.01 ERA. Schmoll was traded to the Mets in 2006 with Duaner Sanchez for Jae Seo and Tim Hamulack. Last year at Triple-A New Orleans, he 2-3 with four saves and a 3.76 ERA.
By rule, Speigner must stay on the Disabled List for at least seven days. With this move, the Senators roster stands at 24 active and one disabled.
