
Sugarman to leads Flyers to their first five game win streak

The Flyers completed their first series sweep in franchise history by beating Reno 5-1 on Sunday night at Goodwin Field. Sugarman struck out eight batters and did not walk anyone. He gave up his only run with two outs in the 9th inning.
The Flyers pitching staff has walked just one batter in the last 39 innings.
The Flyers scored a run in the 2nd inning after Trevor Hall walked and Hector Zamora singled. Buddy Morales hit into a double play but scored the run from third.
Jesse Schmidt, who had a multi-hit game, drove in Garry Templeton II in the 3rd inning.
Peanut Williams RBI single put the Flyers up 3-0 in the 5th inning by driving in Gabe Mayorga.
The Flyers added on two runs in the 8th inning when Morales and Mayorga drove home runs.
Reno did not have more than one runner on base in any inning until the 9th.
Craig Frydendall will try and maintain the streak on Tuesday in Yuma.
The Flyers are in second place at 8-6.
