
Stunners announce first open tryout

St. Louis, MO. One week after announcing that he will serve as Head Coach and Asst. GM to St. Louis newest ABA team, the St. Louis Stunners, Anthony Bonner announced today that the team will hold a two-day tryout camp on Friday July 21 and Saturday July 22 at the Heights Center, located at 8001 Dale Avenue, Richmond Heights, MO 63117 from 8am-11am.
"We are ready to assemble a team that can compete for the ABA Championship next season. I know there are some hidden diamonds that just need the opportunity to shine and hopefully they'll compete for spots on our roster at the tryout camp," Bonner released in a statement.
Players interested in tryout out for the Stunners must register. Registration will begin Monday, June 26th at the Heights Center, Monday-Friday during the hours 9am to 11am. Registrations can also be done online at www.stlStunners.com. Space is limited and players will be admitted into the tryout on a first come-first served basis.
There is a $150.00 registration fee for players that pre-register by July 14th and $175.00 any time after. Walk-ups will be accepted at the door if space is available. The tryout camp will be open only to players, coaching staff and the media. No spectators or other persons will be allowed in the tryout camp.
All tryout participants will receive an official ABA red, white and blue basketball, a Stunners t-shirt and official Stunners practice jersey and shorts.
