Published on December 28, 2005 under American Basketball Association (ABA)
Strong Island Sound News Release
The Strong Island Sound ABA basketball club has announced that all military personnel (active and retired) will be admitted to all home games for half price admission, just by showing their identification card. The promotion is being named "Strong Island Sound Salute", after the league-promotion "ABA Salute". We would like to invite all the men and women who have served our country to our games. We would be honored to have you attend. Any questions can be answered by contacting Joe Pietaro, Director of Media Relations, at (631) 207-2227 extension 107, jpietaro@strongislandsound.com
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
