
Strong Hitting and Pitching Fuels Mohawks to Win

Saugerties N.Y- Riley Mahan got things started off right away for the Mohawks with a leadoff double. Two batter later, Scott Manea drove Mahan in with an RBI double. Gage West drove in Drew Freedman in the second inning with an RBI single. Craig Dedelow had a two run single in the fifth inning to give the Mohawks a 5-1 lead.
Jake Meilock started the game for the Mohawks going four innings give up one unearned run, one strikeout, one hit, and one walk. Chuck Parslow picked up the win for the Mohawks going three innings, giving up one unearned run, striking out two, giving up three hits, and walking none.
Stallions had only five hits and two runs. Charlie Fina had an RBI groundout for the Stallions in the second inning. Pat Dorrian had an RBI single in the fifth inning to score the Stallions second run. Dorrian finished the game 1-4 with an RBI and a walk.
Nick Williams started the game for the Stallions going six innings, giving up five runs, eight hits, four strikeouts, and one walk. Taylor Luckenbill went three innings, giving up one run, two hits, striking out two, and walking three.
