Fort Lauderdale Strikers News Release

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Wednesday, October 7, 2015) -- The Fort Lauderdale Strikers today announced plans for First Responders Night in conjunction with the team's Saturday, October 17, North American Soccer League match against the Carolina RailHawks at Lockhart Stadium. Strikers CEO Sean Guerin made the announcement.

The activities surrounding the 7:30 p.m. EDT game include:

Up to four (4) free game tickets for Broward County law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs. First responders can obtain their tickets now at Strikers.com/firstresponders.

Securing tickets in advance automatically makes participants eligible to win Strikers merchandise, a 2015 autographed team soccer ball and 2016 season tickets. Tickets will also be available at the Lockhart Stadium ticket windows on matchday.

First Responders will be recognized in both pregame and halftime festivities.

"The Strikers are proud to honor these men and women that protect and serve us every day," said Guerin. "We certainly hope our local community joins us in this salute, and our first responders see firsthand how much we appreciate their dedication."

Prior to the match on the 17th, the Strikers and their mascot, HotShot, will be visiting area police and fire stations.
