Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 14, 2011) The Fort Lauderdale Strikers announced today that they have signed forward Jean Philippe Peguero and attacking midfielder Yoximar Granado. Per team policy the terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"Yoximar is a very dynamic right wing player with great speed and skill who will add quality to our attack. Peguero is a player that can add leadership qualities to our team and will hopefully be another player who's going to score goals for us," said Head Coach Daryl Shore.
Peguero, 29, began his career with Haitian club Don Bosco in 2002 before joining the Colorado Rapids of MLS. Peguero played two seasons for Colorado, before signing with the New York Red Bulls for the 2006 season.
