Strikers Look to Remain Unbeaten on the Road

The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will take on the first place Carolina RailHawks this Wednesday where they will look to extend their unbeaten streak

Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 10th, 2011) -The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will travel to Carolina today for their upcoming match against the Carolina RailHawks on Wednesday May 11th at 7:00 P.M. The Strikers are currently on a four match undefeated streak with three of those matches away from home. This will be the final match in the Strikers' four game road trip that has taken them to Atlanta, Puerto Rico, Minnesota, and finally Carolina. The Strikers next home match will be on May 14th at 7:30 P.M. against FC Tampa Bay.

"This is the fourth game of a four game road trip and we know Carolina is playing well and it's going to be a tough game for us. That being said we always talk about getting points on the road and the focus for Carolina is no different. We're going up there trying to get points," said Head Coach Daryl Shore.

The Strikers' four game road trip will come to an end on Wednesday, and they will return to action at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday May 14th at 7:30 P.M. against instate rival FC Tampa Bay.
