Strikers Look to Extend Their Unbeaten Streak

Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 6th, 2011) -The Fort Lauderdale Strikers will travel to Minnesota on Friday in preparation for their third consecutive away match this Saturday, May 7th at 8:30 p.m. The Strikers road trip has taken them to Atlanta, Puerto Rico, and now Minnesota. Their last match saw the Strikers tie the Islanders 2-2 in a late comeback by the defending league champions.

"Minnesota is coming off their best game of the year and we have to go up there and continue to improve and be ready to battle for 90 minutes," said Head Coach Daryl Shore.

The Strikers return to Lockhart Stadium on May 14th at 7:30 p.m. when they take on in-state rival FC Tampa Bay.
