DL Rafael Lamas with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - The Cedar Rapids River Kings have signed defensive lineman Rafael Lamas to their 2019 Indoor Football League roster.
Lamas (6-2, 255, College of the Desert) joins the River Kings for his first season as a member of the IFL. Last season, he joined the National Arena League's (NAL) Lehigh Valley Steelhawks for the final four weeks of the season and started in three games.
Rafael played two collegiate seasons at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. In his senior season, he led the team with six sacks and added 43 total tackles (26 solos), 11.5 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles. He is originally from Banning, California.
