
Storm Welcomes Back Augustana Standout Dan O'Keefe

The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce the re-signing of former Augustana Viking Dan O'Keefe.
O'Keefe was a standout defensive back for the Sioux Falls Augustana Vikings. He started 13 games his junior year and was named All-NSIC South Division defense first team. O'Keefe also earned All-Region first team and All-America honorable mention honors from the Don Hanson Football Committee. He was also named Academic All-NSIC.
In his short time with the Sioux Falls Storm O'Keefe made 19 total tackles, 9 solo tackles and 10 assisted, along with a game changing interception.
Dan is currently pursuing his MBA with a specialization in Health Services Administration at the University of South Dakota.
"We were lucky to get Dan in before the playoffs last year. Dan is a player that brings the elements of athleticism combined with intelligence. We are expecting big things from Dan in 2013," said Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs.
