
Storm under new ownership

Colorado Storm News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA co-Founder, today announced that the Colorado Storm has changed horses in mid-stream and turned the reins over to well known Denver basketball coach and mentor Antonio "Tree" Adams. According to Newman, "The league has started off well; we're now looking at several situations and doing what we can to make sure that the organizations and teams are solid - and Coach Tree provides enormous experience and structure." The organization will include:
Head Coach - Sheldon Jones
Asst Coaches - Lewis Shine, Floyd Brown
Owner/General Manager - Antonio Adams
Dir. of Basketball Operations - Merlin Whitten
Dir. of Scouting - Arric Stoffel
Co-Owner/VP Marketing and Communications - Crystal Adams
Athletic Trainer - Jason Keas
Coach Tree commented, "It's late, but we've put together a good group of staff and quality players - and in a few days, we'll be ready to compete."
