Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm (7-0) will take on the Nebraska Danger (3-4) in a Great Plains Division rematch from earlier this season. The game will be held in Grand Island, Neb. at 8:05pm on Saturday, April 30. The last time these two teams played, the Storm won 80-32.
Last week, the Storm continued their undefeated season with an 84-30 victory over the Bricktown Brawlers of Oklahoma City, Okla. In the game, quarterback Chris Dixon led the team with 213 yards passing and seven throwing touchdowns. In addition, Dixon rushed for one more touchdown, though James Jones led the team with two rushing scores. On defense, the Storm were led by Jovan Jackson and Tyler Knight's 12 and 10 tackle performances, respectively.
The Danger is coming off a 46-37 loss to fellow Great Plains opponent, the Omaha Beef. In the game, Danger quarterback threw for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns, rushing for one as well (the Danger's lone rushing score). On defense, Darius Davis led the team with nine tackles and one sack.
The team will return to the Storm Shelter Saturday, May 7 to take on the Bloomington Extreme at 7:05pm.
