
Storm To Face La Raza In Playoffs

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - The Chicago Storm enter the Major Indoor Soccer League postseason with a No. 5 seed after the New Jersey Ironmen lost their Friday night match against the Baltimore Blast. The Blast defeated New Jersey, 14-6.
The Storm (15-14) are set to face La Raza de Monterrey (16-13) to open their MISL quarterfinal series. The first match takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Sears Centre Arena. Playoff tickets start at just $16.
With the New Jersey loss, the Ironmen cannot mathematically catch up to the Storm. The Ironmen finish the regular season with a 14-16 record and a No. 6 playoff seed. They open the playoffs against No. 3 seed Baltimore (19-10).
Chicago still has one final regular-season match. The Storm travel to Orlando to take on the Sharks (3-26) at 6:35 p.m. (CST) Saturday, April 5, at Amway Arena.
