
Storm Suffers First Loss of the Season

It was a close match for the entire game between the Moncton Miracles at the Island Storm here at the Eastlink Centre tonight.
Reeling from a nearly-30 point loss on Sunday to the Storm, the Moncton team rebounded for a 97-94 victory over the Atlantic Division-leading Storm.
Led by Dominique Buckley's 27 points, the Miracles improved 1-2. Johnny Mayhane (18 points), Stanley Robinson (15 points) and Sylvania Watkins (10 points) also led the way for the visitors.
Storm Small Forward and Wendy's Player of the Game Antonio Ballard was the top scorer for the Island team - with 20 points and 12 rebounds - his 3rd double-double in as many games.
Antoine Tisby (19 points, 8 rebounds), Greg Plummer (12 points), and Semaj Inge (10 points) also chipped in for the Storm.
The Storm look to rebound against the Saint John Mill Rats when they travel to Harbor Station on Sunday. Game time is 4pm. Storm are next in action at the Eastlink Centre on Thursday, November 14 versus the Mill Rats. Game time is 7pm in Charlottetown.
