The Sioux Falls Storm of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) is pleased to announce the addition of running back Jerry Davis.
Davis, a 5'10, 200 lb, played his collegiate career at Missouri Valley College, where he was a two-time All-American in 1997-1998. Last season Davis played in the NIFL for the Sioux City Bandits. Davis led the Bandits with 756 yards rushing on 214 total attempts, to go along with his 11 touchdowns.
"Jerry is an excellent runner and a seasoned veteran in this league. We feel very fortunate to have him apart of our organization and has been a huge spark plug for us since Justin Bivins has been down with a knee injury," says general manager, Colin Steen.
On Friday, April 16th, the Storm take their 2 game winning streak to Lincoln, NE in a Pacific North Conference showdown. The 2-2 Storm and the Capitols will face off at 7:05 pm at Pershing Auditorium.
