Storm Signs CIF Defensive Player of the Year

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm are excited to announce the signing of defensive back Solomon St. Pierre for the 2019 season.
St. Pierre (5'11, 180) will be entering his first season with the Storm. He played for the Sioux City Bandits of the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF) during the 2018 season. After compiling 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, 11 interceptions and 13 pass break-ups Solomon was named the CIF's 2018 Co-Defensive Player of the Year, CIF All-League team and was a Northern Conference First-Team selection.
Solomon played collegiately at the University of Sioux Falls where he tallied 163 tackles, two tackles for loss, 22 interceptions, 18 pass break-ups, five touchdowns, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He was a two-time All-American and was a HERO Sports National Preseason Defensive Player.
"Two-time All-American at University of Sioux Falls and CIF Defensive Player of the Year will be s huge addition to our defense," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs. "We are excited to finally have Soloman on our roster and look forward to him making plays."
