Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm is excited to announce the signing of former Storm Wide Receiver and Kick Return specialist Bryan Alberty.
Alberty, the Storm?s 2008 leader in all-purpose yards with 2,015 rejoins the Storm in 2009 to solidify the receiving core and provide a boost to the special teams.
Storm CEO, Todd Tryon, said, ?We are very excited to have Bryan back for our playoff push. He adds whole new dimension to our team.?
The multi-dimensional threat enters his third season with the team sitting in third place on the Storm?s all-time kick return list and in 2008, accumulated 1,842 all-purpose yards, which is second most for a regular season in Storm history. Alberty joined the team in 2007 playing in three games and had his best year with the Storm in 2008 when he produced 10 touchdowns, three being on kick returns, and caught 80 passes for 665 yards.
Alberty and the Storm travel to Billings for the second of three meetings with the Outlaws this season. The game is billed as the IFL?s Week-13 Game of the Week. The game is aired live at Rookies Grill and Bar with kickoff set for 8:05 pm CST, and the voice of the Storm, Rich Roste?s broadcast can be heard live on KOOL 107.9 FM radio.
